Mr Gorav Datta is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon who strives to provide the highest quality of care to his patients.
Mr Datta qualified from University College London Medical School. His junior doctor training was at the Hammersmith Hospitals training scheme and orthopaedic training was undertaken on the North West London Orthopaedic rotation. Fellowships were taken at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and St George's Hospital in London. Mr Datta's NHS practice (based in Southampton) comprises all forms of hip and knee surgery including hip and knee replacement (including revision surgery), hip and knee arthroscopy, and pelvis and hip reconstructive surgery.
Mr Datta is also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer and is actively involved in research, having completed a Doctorate of Medicine at Imperial College London. He runs a number of clinical trials, one of which is the ABICUS trial, which is investigating the use of stem cells to treat damaged cartilage.

Julian Leong is a Consultant Spinal Surgeon and the Surgical Tutor at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, his practice involves all aspects of spinal problems with children and adults.
Julian Leong is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at UCL, and his research interest is in Surgical Technology and Surgical Skills Training and Assessment. He completed his PhD thesis in 'Hand-eye coordination in Surgery' at Imperial College London. (Supervisors: Prof Ara Darzi, Prof Guang-Zhong Yang, and Prof Roger Emery).
His specialist orthopaedic training was based at the UCLH/Middlesex rotation, which included Spinal Surgery training at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Whipps Cross University Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore.
He completed fellowships at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Norman Capener Fellowship), and Hokkaido University (Sapporo, Japan).
He speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Mr Jig Patel graduated from Southampton University. His orthopaedic surgical training was based in major London hospitals and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. His sub-specialist training was enhanced by a year long fellowship in London, Ontario Canada in hip and knee surgery. Mr Patel had been a NHS consultant at Kings College, London in 2002 and joined University College Hospital in 2004.
Mr Patel's trauma interests include fixation of fractures using minimally invasive techniques. He has interests in hip and knee disorders which include computer assisted joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic knee surgery including ACL reconstuction.

Mr Colin Natali is a consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who is fellowship trained in Spinal Surgery. His practice is exclusively the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the Neck, Thoracic and Lumbar Spine. Particular interests include back pain, neck pain, prolapsed intervertebral discs, whiplash syndrome and spondylolysthesis. His interest in Spine Surgery has developed over the years and he is at the forefront of the latest techniques available.
In addition, he is the Medical Director of a Rehabilitation Clinic, called Back2Normal, the Programme Director for the Orthopaedics Registrar Rotation at the Royal London Hospital, a Senior Lecturer for Undergraduates at Queen Mary Westfield College and a Medical Advisor for several Insurance Companies.

Giles supervises the gym, planning and implementing the rehabilitation protocols. Patients are seen individually or in pairs. There are never more than two people in the gym at one time. The Gym is equipped with a hydraulic weight machine for concentric training and machines for concentric/eccentric training. Free weights are available for more challenging training programmes. Giles will instruct in aerobic and anaerobic regimes. Training programmes are tailored to any level of fitness.

Consultant in Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery (Keyhole)
After completing his neurosurgical training in Pakistan Mr Irfan Malik underwent advanced Neurosurgical training at The Royal Hallamshire Hospital and the University Hospital, Coventry & Warwickshire between 2001-2006. Following this he obtained his FRCS(SN) and then enhanced his experience by completing fellowships, in Complex spine and Epilepsy surgery from the University Hospital Coventry and King's College Hospital, London.
His specialist interest includes key hole spine surgery, the assessment and treatment (both surgical and non-surgical) of all spinal conditions including degenerative, traumatic and malignant spinal disorders. He is an expert in the use of Minimally Invasive Techniques for Spinal Surgery and disc replacement surgery for the treatment of neck and back pain, arm pain and sciatica.
In addition to this, together with his London Neurosurgical Group, he provides a comprehensive service for the treatment of epilepsy.

Ms Katrina Erskine is a specialist in the management of large fibroids, colposcopy (management of abnormal smears) and vulval disease, and also sees women with general gynaecological problems. Ms Erskine is the lead obstetrician at The Homerton Hospital in East London, and specialises in "High Risk" Pregnancy. She is Clinical Director for Women's Services at The Homerton and leads for clinical risk management and has co-written guidelines for antenatal care and delivery suite management that have been used in many hospitals.
Ms Erskine holds a monthly NHS clinic with a consultant dermatologist for women with vulval problems. Gynaecologically, she has an interest in the management of fibroids, and also is an accredited teaching colposcopist (management of women with abnormal smear tests).
Ms Erskine has been a medico-legal expert for 15 years, and has written over 120 reports for both defence and claimants. Her research has included an MD Thesis on Pre-Eclampsia, fetal monitoring in labour, and the use of misoprostol in maternity care. She has also written on a woman's right to choose her mode of delivery.
